Welcome to Ms. Anderson's Class

Welcome to a new school year!

I am excited to be embarking on my third-year journey of teaching 3rd grade. As a proud mother of 4 children and an Educator of over 20 years, I understand the importance of how education plays such a vital role in the academic aspect of children's lives.

My experience of being a Teacher, Director, and State of Georgia Pre-K Consultant, has equipped me in many facets of this teaching role.

I am a proud graduate of Fort Valley State University where I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Family and Consumer Science- Infant and Child Development. Additionally, I attended Trident University International, where I received my Master's degree in Early Childhood Education.

As a product of the McDuffie County School System, I am honored to be able to return to serve in my local community.

My teaching philosophy is to create a safe and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and respected. I believe that every child has the potential to learn and grow, and I am dedicated to helping your child reach their full potential.

I would also like to introduce my co-teacher, Mrs. Flores who assist me in our classroom. We plan, teach and collaborate in creating a growth-based learning environment to help increase student's learning skills and ability.

We are looking forward to an exciting school year of empowering students to soar to new heights in learning!

We will be using CLASS DOJO to communicate your child's learning experience with you throughout the school year.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.
