Mission Statement: 
The mission of the Thomson Elementary School Counseling Department is to support all students in their  academic development, social/emotional growth, and career exploration.
 
Vision Statement:
The Thomson Elementary School Counselor will provide a safe and encouraging environment where students are encouraged as they work to reach their fullest potential in the academic, personal, and career realm. 
 
Belief Statements: 
  • I believe that all students have the potential to reach their fullest potential to achieve academic greatness when provided an encouraging and nurturing environment. 
  • I believe ALL students should be treated with dignity and respect.
  • I believe that all students are respected for their ethnic, racial, cultural, gender differences, and individual needs.
